The minimum rental age for this car is 25 years and the maximum age is 74.

Getting a car

Passport or ID is required.
An international driver’s license is required if the national driver’s license is not printed in English.

Insurance & Maintenance

Insurance & Maintenance – As it is a self drive van you will be hiring, insurance is included within the price and not an added extra you will need to worry about. When borrowing a friend or relatives van this is obviously a cost you will need to account for, and for short term insurance cover this can be very costly, in most cases probably even more expensive than just hiring a van from a van hire company. Also with the maintenance of a vehicle this is all taken care of for you and part of the service when hiring a van and another headache you don’t need to worry about.

Insurance Excess

The insurance excess is £750 in the event of a claim on any of our  vehicles. There is an option to reduce your insurance excess to £350 at charge of £9 per day. 

Payment methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Visa Debit. We do not accept cash, prepaid cards, pay-as-you-go cards or cheque’s.

Cash and debit cards are not accepted.

RENTAL TERMS

Driver Requirements, Rental Terms Drivers must be within the age group and hold the correct category on their license for the type of vehicle being hired. Drivers must have held a full license for 2 years and in between the ages of 25–74.

Please can you check with our office if you hold more than 6 penalty points on your drivers licence. Payment and Confirmation of Booking: Your credit/debit card will be debited immediately on completion of the booking process. All online bookings are automated, but do however need to be verified by a Neo member of staff.

Security Deposit: On collection of the vehicle you will need to leave a pre-authorised holding deposit of £500 on a major debit or credit card providers. All Deposits may be increased at the discretion of the Neo Van Hire Staff. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Visa Debit. We do not accept cash, prepaid cards, pay-as-you-go cards or cheque’s. Deposits will be released within 4-10 working days and on the basis that the condition of the vehicle is the same as you had received it.

Collection Documentation: The following original documents must be presented at the time of collection, (we do not accept photocopies of driving licences). Failure to present the correct documentation, will result in delay/cancellation of your rental. UK Resident’s: • Driving licence. • National Insurance Number or Share My Licence Code (see https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence.

1 forms of additional ID (showing current name and address, dated within the last 3 months)—e.g. utility bill, bank statement, council tax bill, official letter. If your circumstances change, please contact the booking branch as soon as possible.

Neo Van Hire reserve the right to change any terms and conditions without notice or not comply to the published material if certain circumstances arise. Neo Van Hire also reserve the right to refuse to hire or cancel a hire without notice under special circumstances.

Their service was exceptional, I needed to hire a van as my son was moving from London to essex so I needed to help with moving all of his belongings and the Ford transit short wheel base van was the perfect vehicle to help me do this. There was enough space for all of his belongings and the rates are very cheap compared with other companies that I found. Could not recommend Neo Van Hire enough if you need to hire a van from the Barnet, Southgate or London area
